Pottery Museum Nospelt
At the Nospelt Pottery Museum, you can immerse yourself in the history and traditions of a craft that shaped the village for generations. Located in the former home and workshop of Nospelt’s last potter, the museum offers authentic insights into the art of ceramic production, featuring historical tools and a rich collection of traditional pottery.
A special symbol of this craft is the Péckvillchen, Luxembourg’s famous bird-shaped clay whistle, closely associated with the traditional Emaischen festival. Discover the stories behind this beloved custom and experience the fascination of pottery-making firsthand. During workshops led by passionate hobby potters, you can create your own Péckvillchen and take home a unique piece of Luxembourgish heritage. Guided tours and workshops are available upon request.
