We set off at nightfall through the forest along the Luxembourg-Belgiumborder. Why so late? Pssssst - so that we won’t get caught smuggling! Your guide knows many stories, anecdotes and fates of the people for whomsmuggling was at times a necessity of life. Enjoy a warm meal after the tour (~6km) in a relaxed atmosphere.
The old ways on the Luxembourg-Belgian border are contemporary witnesses of many stories, anecdotes and fates of the population, for whom smuggling was at times considered to be (vitally) necessary. Why was smuggling going on here? What was smuggled? Who smuggled? You will learn this and much more during this extraordinary hike in the dark. Together with your guide, you will embark on an exciting journey with many stories, about the fates of people for whom smuggling was at times a necessity of life. The tour ends with a small bite to eat.
