The market, which traditionally takes place on Whitsunday, dates back to a farmer market, which was held on the nearby hill “Helperknapp”. Despite the difficult location and the cumbersome ascent, the market became one of the most important markets in the region. Nowadays, visitors will find works of local artists and craftsmen, regional products, hobby and handicraft items at the stands in the picturesque streets of Buschdorf.
