Course on identifying fruit varieties

Our region is home to around 520 varieties of fruit, many of which are heritage varieties at risk of extinction. To preserve the biodiversity of our orchards, it can be useful to learn how to recognise these treasures.

In this course, Marc Thiel, from the SIAS Biological Station, combines theory with practical exercises on fruit. Together, we will explore the world of regional fruit varieties.
