Parish church Mersch

After the church at the Michelsplatz (Michel square) had become dilapidated, a three-aisled dean’s church was built in the style of late classicism from 1844 to 1850. This architectural style is rarely found in church buildings in Luxembourg. One recognizes classicism at the pillared building in front of the entrance, which reminds of antiquity, primarily Greek models.
