Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!

Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!

“Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz!” invites you to rediscover the most beautiful sides of Luxembourg right on your doorstep – with countless hiking and cycling trails, hidden regional treasures, and special places that continue to enchant both visitors and locals alike.

The Guttland region perfectly captures this feeling: gentle rolling hills, idyllic villages, authentic experiences, and plenty of space to slow down and unwind. Between nature, culture, and living traditions, Guttland shows just how diverse and inspiring Luxembourg can be.

As part of this year’s campaign, a special focus is placed on local craftsmanship. A wonderful example of this is the Thillenvogtei Museum in Rindschleiden, where history comes to life and both young and old can become actively involved.

Whether it is a wood workshop, bread baking, traditional village games, apple pressing, or experiencing life in a village school from the past, traditional craftsmanship is shared here in a playful and hands-on way. The wide range of workshops offers fascinating insights into life around 1900 and turns history into a truly memorable experience.

As part of the giveaway below, participants have the chance to win a group activity at the Thillenvogtei Museum for up to 15 people. The winner can freely choose their preferred activity from the available workshops, and—upon request—book it for a date of their choice, making it a unique experience to enjoy together with friends or family.

Additionally, the museum offers a summer programme (“Programme d’été”), taking place every Thursday when the museum is open to visitors. Individuals, families, or groups of friends can join these activities without prior booking and experience traditional craftsmanship in an authentic and welcoming setting.
