Science Summer Camp for Children
Screen-free, hands-on science for children aged 5 to 11, in English and French
Junior Einsteins Science Club is running a five-morning science camp for children aged 5 to 11 at Laborartorium in Livange, from Monday 24 to Friday 28 August 2026, from 9am to 1pm each day.
Each morning follows its own theme and works as a complete session in its own right. Monday covers chemistry and light, Tuesday covers chemical reactions and the human body, Wednesday covers engineering and anatomy, Thursday covers flight and forces, and Friday covers biology and rocketry. Across the week the children make slime, erupt a volcano, design and load test a bridge, listen to the circulatory system through a stethoscope, fly glider planes and launch rockets. They take home something they have made each day, and the week closes with a graduation ceremony and a certificate.
.
Every experiment is explained in English and in French, so each child follows the session in the language they are most comfortable in. The children work in two age groups, ages 5 to 8 and ages 9 to 11, so the level suits each group. Lab coats, safety goggles and snacks are provided, and families bring a packed lunch.
Families can book the full week or a single morning, because each day stands on its own. The full week is 250 euros as an introductory price, against a standard price of 350 euros, and a single morning is 60 euros. Places are limited, as the group is kept small.
Laborartorium is a science and nature experience gallery at 24 Rue Geespelt in Livange, with parking on site and quick access from the A3.
