Description

Scenic Refreshment stops available

Are you interested in stories, legends, and myths, castles and palaces and their secrets? Then you are in the best place in the west of Guttland. Embark on a journey through time, from the Middle Ages to the Romans, while traveling through picturesque villages and varied landscapes.

Your journey begins in Mersch, in the center of the country, and then takes you through the enchanting Valley of the Seven Castles. A highlight at any time of year is the baroque palace gardens of Ansembourg. Between Goeblingen and Nospelt, another stop is worthwhile to discover the remains of a Roman villa in the forest. In Kahler, street art artworks along the route impress, and in Steinfort you have the difficult choice if you want to make a gastronomic stop. The route climbs high in Useldingen; climb the stately castle and enjoy the view from a great height. The circular route also takes you through the country’s smallest village, Rindschleiden.

The route partially follows the route of the “Grand Tour du Luxembourg.” You can follow the signage to the national route. However, there is no signage on the part of the route that closes the loop. The signage only has a supportive character and shows only when the route changes.

Experience the tour with an audio guide

The Audio Guide is an immersive mode that lets you learn about the surrounding environment via audio. Simply turn on the Audio Guide and as you reach points of interest with audio, they will play automatically. You can choose to listen to them individually from the map or the list view.
