Gravity & Other Myths

On a stage lined with LED screens, neon lights and video projections, eight acrobats dissect our insatiable hunger for entertainment with striking precision.

In a screen-saturated society, where self-curation has become the norm, what remains truly authentic? What do we choose to reveal and what is reflected back at us through the gaze of others? These are the questions at the heart of The Mirror., a collective cabaret that is as playful as it is incisive — and deeply human.

Blending dizzying lifts, intricately woven bodies, cutting-edge electro pulses, live vocals and jaw-dropping acrobatics, Australian company Gravity & Other Myths crafts fleeting living tableaux that form and dissolve in the blink of an eye — like an endless stream of images with no beginning or end. From the first beat to the final blackout: absolutely breathtaking.
