The Christmas market has existed in its current form, with its wooden cabins, for more than 20 years. This year, it exceptionally takes place on the 1st and 22nd weekend of December.
Well known beyond the borders of the municipality of Steinfort, the Christmas market attracts more and more visitors each year.

Today, the Steinfort Christmas Market features more than 30 small chalets offering a wide selection of culinary and artisanal specialties. Local associations offer a variety of meals and drinks.

Throughout the two weekends, numerous fun and diverse activities await the children, and Le Mirador offers a torch-lit walk through the Steinfort forest.

All proceeds will be donated to one or more NGOs!

Bricher Chrëschtmaart – Christmas Market in Brouch

Experience the festive spirit at the Bricher Chrëschtmaart, the charming Christmas market of Brouch. Held at the Veräinsbau / Campus Helperknapp, the market brings together local artisans, producers, and associations offering handmade gifts, seasonal specialties, and warm festive drinks.

With a cosy holiday atmosphere, delicious food stands, and a free shuttle service connecting the villages across the municipality, the Bricher Chrëschtmaart is the perfect place for families, friends, and neighbours to come together and celebrate the magic of the season.

SAEUL 

On December 12 and 13, 2025, the Saeul Christmas Market will once again take place, organized by the local associations of the municipality of Saeul in collaboration with the municipality itself. Come and enjoy the magical Christmas atmosphere on both days from 5:00 PM onwards.

Schuttrange Christmas Market

The holiday spirit is back in our commune. The Schuttrange Christmas Market, with its 16 charming chalets and winter stage will feature delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.

When?

December 12th and 13th from 5pm to 10pm

December 14th from 3pm to 8pm

Planning to visit the Christmas market in Schuttrange? Consider using public transport! The bus lines 324 and 361 take you directly to the Schuttrange Kiercheplaz stop. Alternatively, take the free "Ruffbus Syrdall" shuttle (T. 28 108-39). Green Events

The Christmas Market in Schuttrange is back this year, embracing sustainability as a Green Event. In collaboration with local associations, we are dedicated to making this event eco-friendly by following these conditions: 

• Drinks and food are served without plastic and with reusable dishes.
• Food products are primarily from the local region, sourced from biological agriculture and produced under fair and social conditions. Vegetarian dishes are also available.
• Waste is sorted at the front and at the back of the counter and is eliminated according to regulations.
• Paper advertisements are sent exclusively to households in the Commune of Schuttrange displaying the sticker “For printed media of the Commune of Schuttrange” on their letterboxes. The objective of the “Schuttrange without paper” strategy is to encourage more ecological and sustainable practices, preventing tons of paper, often unread, from being sent to recycling. The commune's paper advertisements are printed on recycled paper.
• Non-reusable items are avoided for marketing, gifts, etc.
• Non-reusable bags are not used.
• LEDs are used instead of conventional lighting.
• Ecological cleaning products are used.

Christmas market Vichten

A great collaboration between the local associations – Aktiv Viichten, the Fire Brigade, Club 2000, and the municipality – brings 14 chalets to life this year, where exhibitors present their hobbies and passions across a wide range of fields.

For musical entertainment, the children from the “Um Sonnegäertchen” school perform on Friday around 6 p.m. after the opening, and on Saturday evening around 6 p.m., Nathalie & Claude provide a lively atmosphere.

Come by and discover the Christmas market and enjoy a varied program throughout the winter months with parties, tea dances and themed evenings in a beautiful setting. For young and old, there’s something for everyone. The Christmas market is open during all events on the weekends of December 13 and December 20, making these dates a highlight of the season.
