Hiking in the Guttland region
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg disposes of a network of national hiking trails covering the whole country and linking the major tourist attractions. More than 20 trails offer hiking routes ranging from 15 to 68 km. The paths are signposted in both directions with different yellow symbols on a blue background.
The so-called “Auto-pédestres” are circular hiking trails, which can be found all over the country. There are a total of 201 of these trails (of which over 50 are located in the Guttland region) and they are all described in a compact booklet, which is available in many bookstores in Luxembourg. The paths are marked with a blue triangle on a white background. All information and data can also be downloaded at www.visitluxembourg.com or at tourisme.geoportail.lu.
