By way of introduction, there is a Kamishibai, a genuinely exciting story, which then sends us with a riddle into the underground pit to look for a solution. We then learn the beautiful old craft of slate and are given an opportunity to decorate our own tablet by engraving, scratching  or grinding.

Duration: 3 hours; schedule:  arrival: 15 minutes / story: 45 minutes / vault: 45 minutes / workshop: 60 minutes for slate tablet and decoration / return: 15 minutes.

Important: Please bring sturdy shoes and a warm jacket! The temperature in the vault is always 9° C. Visit without adult accompaniment.
