The Slate Museum allows you to take a captivating overview of the mine extraction based in the area around Martelange. Discover the path of the stone, from its genesis and its underground extraction to the final product and its transportation. Explore the working conditions of the Martelange quarrymen and receive an interesting overview of their daily life. The Musée de l’Ardoise offers an interesting insight view to the life and the work of the quarrymen on an area of 8 ha and 22 buildings.
