Gallo-Roman aqueduct Raschpëtzer

The ''Raschpëtzer'' qanat in the forest of Helmsange near Walferdange is an impressive underground aqueduct dating back to the Roman period and collecting water still today. Some parts of the monument were rebuilt or adapted to ensure its conservation, and made accessible to the public. The steel covers of two shafts festure a glass window providing a view of the interior of the shaft and water flowing in the conduit. The visitor's gallery gives access to the bottom of a shaft.
