Guided Tour - Underground Aqueduct "Raschpëtzer"

In Helmsange forest, you can visit the “Raschpëtzer” qanat. This imposing underground aqueduct dates back to the Gallo-Roman period. It still carries water to this day and is open to visitors. The lids of two shafts are fitted with glass windows. Glare-free lighting affords a view of the flowing water down to the bottom of the shaft. The visitors’ gallery leads to the bottom of a shaft.
