This guided tour takes you on a turbulent time journey of the former monastery (13th century). Upon arrival in 1258, Blessed Prioress Yolanda of Vianden built a church and library. The monastery was closed after the Thirty Years' War. Buildings were demolished and new ones rebuilt under the direction of various owners. In 1974, the Luxembourg state bought this magnificent property. Today it houses the "Centre de Jeunesse du Service National de la Jeunesse" [Youth Centre of the National Youth Service.]
